Risk Monitoring Committee
Pursuant to the OJK Circulation Letter No. 16/SEOJK.05/2014, Risk Monitoring Committee is a committee set up by the Board of Commissioners (BOC) to assist the BoC in overseeing the implementation of risk management by the Board of Directors and measure the degree of risk tolerance that the Company handles.
Structure of Risk Monitoring Committee
Sarkoro Handajani, Ir., MM – Chairman
Sarkoro Hamdani was born in Karawang on September 25, 1954. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology in 1980 and Magister Management from Universitas Trisakti in 1995. He assumed a role as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner based on the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on March 3, 2015. Sarkoro was appointed as Head of the Risk Monitoring Committee on January 5, 2015 according to Decision Letter No. 011/KOM/SDM/052015.
Prior to joining Marein, Sarkoro Hamdani assumed a role as Director in several companies, namely PT Putra Sinar Permaja, PT Inti Dufree Promosindo Tbk and PT Satwika Permai Indah.
He was born in Yogyakarta on October 10, 1955 and completed his study in Philosophy under Philosophy of Science Program from the Driyakara School of Philosophy in 1980 and completed study diploma in insurance in Glasgow College of Technology (Caledonian University) Glasgow, Scotland, UK in 1989. He was appointed as Risk Monitoring Committee Member on January 5, 2015 in accordance with Decision Letter No. 011/KOM/SDM/052015.
Prior to joining Marein, YH Surya Pujawiyata held several managerial positions in insurance company, including Manager of Underwriting & Reinsurance Department, Head of a Branch Office, Head of Division, Technical Advisor in the same company, PT Asuransi Wahana Tata.
Nuri Danardono, Dra., Psi, CPLHI, ARA, FLMI, CRP – Member
She was born in Jakarta on June 30, 1959 and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia in 1985. She was appointed as Risk Monitoring Committee Member on January 5, 2015 pursuant to Decision Letter No. 011/KOM/SDM/052015.
Prior to joining Marein, Nuri Danardono assumed a role as Manager in several companies, including PT Sarinah Jaya Group and PT Nusa Cipta Rancana. She once was appointed as Head of Human Resources & Corporate Services Division, Corporate Secretary and Marein’s Head of Pension Fund of PT Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia Tbk and retired on June 30, 2014.
